This year’s annual Auckland Anniverary Weekend Dance Party at Scott’s Landing for the Mahurangi Regatta was fun for the crowds that turned out as well as for the band. The place was rocking!

“The crowd loved you and the regulars were unanimous in saying that they always love you. But this year the Prohibition Big Band were simply magnificent. The sadness of missing most of it being behind the wheel of the shuttle bus was largely made up for by the glowing reports of the folk I was ferrying home during the evening—typically folk with littlies and elderlies. You did the Mahurangi Regatta most proud.”
